The much awaited Annual Family Day is soon approaching…….thus goes our church announcements reminding its parishioners about this joyous day of family celebration at our parish of Sacred Heart in Manama, with the theme of the day being: Make your family a sanctuary for Priests.
Many parishioners have come forward voluntarily to make this day a memorable one for all, the young and the old, by arranging various activities, to mention a few, the food stalls, the games stall, stage presentations, fancy dress competitions, famous personalities competition, cultural dances, clothes shop, books and magazine sales, Idol singing contest, live bands to perform, much, much more and DJ to entertain all.
The atmosphere is so ambitious that many have come forward to involve in one way or the other, nevertheless, we encourage those who could not to lend your help by your contribution for the food stalls, or the games stall or by taking active part in one of the stalls or as a volunteer to do something to make this day a memorable one for each one of us.
This day will also give us the opportunity to foster the bondage of parish families to come forward to make this day a day of unity and love by mingling together and sharing with one another the joyous spirit of Easter that we have just celebrated.
So, come one, come all to give the best you can on this Annual Family Day, on Friday, 16th April, either through your contribution or active participation, thus making this spirit of oneness of love, joy and peace with each other.
