TIME FOR FORGIVENESS, RECONCILIATION AND PEACE
The highlight of the Liturgical year for us Christians is Easter, the day when we believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Hence, Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday, is a forty-day season of preparation for Easter. |

We may ask, why 40 days? Because, the word of God, the Bible, tells us how Jesus fasted and was tempted in the wilderness for 40 days.
